DC TOWER

The pendulum system consists of double cable suspensions and damping cylinders installed on the 60th floor. It weighs 300 tonnes and dampens wind and earthquake vibrations using semi-active double piston absorbers. It also features a water tank that can be used to extinguish fires. End stops limit the pendulum’s range of motion and protect the building from damage.

Austria’s highest rooftop bar offers a breathtaking view, especially during evening hours. Visitors to the 58th floor are met by a puristic design with spacious seating areas, culinary delights and excellent drinks.
